Nama Adam Sandler memang tidak dapat ditemukan dalam daftar jajaran penerima nominasi The 84th Annual Academy Awards. Namun, nama Sandler memenuhi daftar nominasi The 32nd Annual Razzie Awards – sebuah penghargaan yang berada di wilayah yang berseberangan dengan Academy Awards, untuk “menghargai” film-film berkualitas buruk yang dirilis dalam jangka waktu satu tahun terakhir. Dengan tiga film yang diproduksi oleh rumah produksi milik Sandler, Happy Madison Productions, semuanya mendapatkan kritikan tajam dari para kritikus film dunia, tidak mengherankan bila untuk tahun ini, Sandler berhasil memperoleh 11 nominasi Razzie Awards sekaligus!
